Passports, Visas, Flights and More

It is each traveler’s responsibility to have proper travel documents (passports/visas/government ID) when traveling domestically and InternationallyFor international travel, US citizens must have a valid passport (not a passport card)Passport needs to be valid for at least six months AFTER you return home AND have two or more blank pages, depending on your destination. Otherwise some countries may not allow you to enter.

For travel to the UK, US citizens will need to obtain an electronic travel authorization (ETA) before visiting the Untied Kingdom. This digital permit is valid for multiple entries over 2 years. The simple ETA application can be completed quickly online:

Beginning in 2026--For travel to other European countries an ETIAS will be required: European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) - ETIAS
